School Nurse Request
Cold and Flu season is upon us and students are being sent home on a recent regular basis. Our wonderful school nurse, Ms. Sandy offers a flyer with great advice. Click here to see that flyer.
She is having a "Kleenex" drive, and requests boxes of Kleenex, or handi-packs she can pass out to students. Also, she is requesting caffeine-free herbal teas to give to students who come in achy and with the sniffles.

Help is on the way for West Rickardsburg Parents
Have you ever wondered how you would answer if your teen asks you if you drank in high school? Or how to teach anger management when you find yourself yelling? Ever worried about your teen being peer pressured, and wonder if they have the skills they need to refuse?
In the coming months, West Rickardsburg’s “Stop Youth Drinking, Start Thinking Coalition” is hosting several five-week workshops called Staying Connected with Your Teen. This workshop series brings parents together to delve into the mysterious inner workings of teenage development, and helps parents understand the unique behaviors that are often associated only with teens. After looking at what teen development is all about, the series builds parents’ skills to better handle the budding and sometimes unfriendly personality of these young adults, while setting firm boundaries to keep kids safe. Staying Connected with your Teen will be offered:
Mar. 4th, Mar. 11th, Mar. 18th, Mar. 25th, Apr. 1st
Mar. 6th, Mar. 13th, Mar. 20th, Mar. 27th, Apr. 3rd (Offered in Spanish)

Bakers Needed to Donate Items for the Dessert Table at the RHS March 14th Auction
One important and yummy RHS fund raiser is the dessert table at the school auction. Donated desserts are won by each table 'passing the hat'. The table that collects the most money gets first pick from an array of scrumptious desserts. Some desserts are donated by local bakeries and many come from the talented bakers in our RHS family.
If you love to bake and would be able to provide a dessert for the auction please contact Nancy at 555-2176 or Rick 555-9532. Your dessert can be dropped off or picked up Friday morning on the auction day, March 14. Please let us know by February 29th if you can help!
